Together Forever
Who has 12 thumbs and knows their way around a communal workspace? The Bold Italic staff. Since we launched in October 2009, we've shared rooms in joint offices in SOMA, Civic Center, and the FiDi before landing in our own damn space, where we can finally put succulents on desks we call our own. Still in recovery from cubes, corner rooms, and other dingier holes around town, we put together this foolproof plan to ensure our open office has all the elements necessary to make us productive and happy.
A vapor room (cough) for inspired brainstorming sessions.
Special eyeglasses that make it look like we're working but allow us to sleep when necessary.
Coffee IVs built into desks-plug in and constantly caffeinate!
Weekly psychic readings so we know how long we'll be in business.
A Bloody Mary bar for after hours only. Well, make that most hours.
A bike valet. So we don't have to carry our cycles up the stairs.
A stable of TCB bike couriers – ready for any and all Wing Wings deliveries.
A skate ramp. We're too old to use it, but no one has to know that.
Desk parklets for when we need greenery.
