What are you up to tonight? Because
one of the most important musical acts of our time the band you'll probably want to see if you're a Macaulay Culkin fan is playing a cozy venue in the Inner Richmond called Neck of the Woods. The former Home Aloner is bringing his pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band to San Francisco, and by that I mean they just replace classic Lou Reed lyrics with puns about pizza. It's really that simple. The Pizza Underground will be playing a happy hour show, so you may have to cut out of work early to catch the 5 p.m. start time. Here's a little preview of what Macaulay looks like eating a slice of pizza.
Of course, it's important to note that we do already have a pizza-themed band in town, those Personal & the Pizza punks, who have had some fightin' words for this Hollywood-backed threat. But you don't have to choose sides. Make a whole evening of it by seeing Personal & the Pizza's free show at the Hemlock later tonight.
