According to the "voice of Generation-Y" Elite Daily, San Francisco takes the honor of being the third most hungover city in the country, beat only by Milwaukee and Fargo. The site claims the average San Franciscan drinks 12.06 boozy beverages a month; 8.2% of locals are heavy drinkers; and 19.6% of adults here are binge drinkers. There are also 6.9 deaths per 100,000 residents from alcoholic liver disease. I was going to make a joke here, but there's just nothing funny about these numbers. In fact, they're pretty sad, especially when you've had too many friends who fit these stats. For once we have a nationwide survey it would help to lose.
