I love the Northern California trend of intimate indie shows at stunning scenic locations. The Huichica Music Festival, now in its fifth year, will take over the cozy amphitheater at Gundlach Bundschu Winery on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. If you've been before, you know these stunning grounds (with a pond and short paths for strolling), and the daylong concerts they support, are awesome. Grab some bottles of wine, set up your picnic blanket, and let the sounds and sun take over. The family-run (and music-loving) winery just announced the lineup today, a list that includes some solid selections from the indie-folk-psych continuum, and, per usual, amazing food and booze.
