Our friends at Findery decided to embrace their foolish side and launch their awesome new app on one of the zaniest days of the year, April 1st. We here at The Bold Italic were excited to throw them an appropriately wacky soiree to celebrate.
DJ Purple was in the house jamming hits for bold singers and providing necessary saxaphone and cow bell back-up where needed.
The folks at Fogcutter Catering got into the spirit, serving up delectable bites for guests with a few fun twists. Their fried potato "ice cream cones" and beet and beef "lollipops" were a huge hit.
Guests left notes on Findery via "Uncle Jesse," The Bold Italic's Human Powered Treat Machine. Those who left notes received cupcakes in return and witnessed the hands inside Uncle Jesse start breaking out into a bit of dancing of their own.
The Lodge at The Regency provided the perfect backdrop for a rainy evening, and Home Sweet Flowers made everything more festive with their custom arrangements while magician Ryan Kane delighted the crowd with magic tricks and other foolery.
