Trader Joe's and Target Hummus Recalled

May 22 at 2pm

By Wendy Steiner

Some of the dip and hummus products from Trader Joe's and Target are being voluntarily recalled because of a possible risk of listeria. Listeria is a genus of bacteria that can cause a rare but serious infection in humans. According to the FDA press release, the recall applies to over 14,800 pounds of dips. You can see the compromised products here (including TJ's edamame hummus!). If you've purchased products on the list, you can return them where you bought them for refunds.
