A year ago, the Gauntlet Gallery put on an Daft Punk-themed exhibit – this weekend they’re doing it “One More Time” with their latest show, titled Daft Punk Deux. Over 40 artists of a variety of stripes have joined forces to produce works of art in one grand homage to the French disco-androids. This show has the potential to be “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” than last year’s.

Daft Punk Deux’s opening reception is this Saturday, May 31st from 7-10 p.m. at the Gauntlet Gallery’s Tendernob/Polk Gulch studio and will be up through June 24th.

The contributing artists will be drawing on nearly all aspects of the robotic duo’s craft, presence, and persona for inspiration. Expect to see artistic representations of hit songs from Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories as well as the insane visual displays from their past tours.

When you come “Face To Face” with the artwork, you’ll have an “Instant Crush” and be filled with “Digital Love.” Who knows, maybe you’ll “Get Lucky” and the actual Robots will show up – but even if they don’t, you’ll be sure to have “The Prime Time of Your Life.” Ahem.
