The California Department of Transportation, AKA CalTrans, AKA trolls, will be closing the northbound Interstate 280 starting at 9 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, July 2 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 7 from the U.S. 101/I-280 interchange to downtown San Francisco. According to the SFMTA, "this closure is necessary to replace a bridge hinge on northbound I-280 between Cesar Chavez Street and 24th Street." There is also a closure planned for the Labor Day Holiday weekend. Traffic will be detoured to the 101 and you can see more about the bridge hinge replacement here. Happy Fourth of July!
