C.R.E.A.M., AKA Cookies Rule Everything Around Me, is opening a new location in the Mission tomorrow August 2. The Bay Area ice cream company opened their first store in Berkeley in 2010 and is known for their tasty, customizable ice cream sandwiches made with fresh-baked cookies. To celebrate the opening, they're giving away these glorious ice cream sandwiches from noon to 8 p.m. at the new storefront at 3106 16th Street.

When I went to Berkeley CREAM was hugely popular and usually had a line (and that ice cream wasn't even free), so if you're hankering for some sugary goodness on the house, you'd be wise to save time to wait in line. Luckily, the line will give you plenty of time to decide on the perfect sandwich combo.

Update: You can also get a free C.R.E.A.M. peanut butter ice cream sandwich at SOMA Streat Food Park on Sunday August 3 at 11 a.m. while supplies last courtesy of CBS Films and their new movie, "What If."
