The prominence of flower crowns adorning the heads of Outside Landers seemed appropriate given Friday's surprisingly summery feel. Yesterday though, I sought out examples of a trend with no less popularity, but possibly a deeper meaning. Possibly ... From the Polo Field to Hellman Hollow, Old Glory was making an appearance in just about every form that could possibly be worn.

The most notable variation was on a kid at the Tycho show. This enterprising young man was wearing a flag shirt with 28 stars, 11 stripes, and a superimposed picture of Ronald Reagan. I'm cool with the flag being used as fashion inspiration here and there, but for the love of The Internet, please don't let the random Ronald Reagan face become the new random Bill Murray face.
