On Sunday, I went to Fort Funston with some friends and their dogs Milo and Olive (that's her furry face above). It was my first time at this gorgeous off-leash dog park/beach. Being there made it clear to me why dog owners are barking mad about the possibility of their dogs losing off-leash access at Fort Funston. The dogs enjoy the park so much that it would be a real tragedy to lose this amazing space where they can roam free. 

If you want to see a really happy dog, let one loose on the beach.
