Objects of Desire -- At Tonight's Hayes Valley Trunk Show

Whenever Reliquary has a trunk show, I take note. Reliquary is a boutique in Hayes Valley that just opened last year, carrying "objects of desire." The owner, Leah Bershard, has impeccable taste and an eye for vintage threads from Parisian flea markets, antique jewelry, international folk art, and modern clothing. (Refinery29 just ran a story peeking into Leah's fantastic wardrobe). This makes for an eye-opening shopping experience – every time I go into the shop, I spy something totally unique and covetable.

Tonight's trunk show (beginning at 5 p.m.) will feature the work of clothing designer Ali Golden and jewelry designer Marisa Haskell – both from Oakland. Oh, and there will be wine.

Ali Golden, who has an adorable miniature-sized studio in Temescal Alley, will be debuting her new collection of bags. I love the clothing she is producing as well – her designs are so modern and chic.

Marisa Haskell will be there with her beautiful Spring/Summer collection of jewelry. If you've got even a little bit of bohemian rock 'n roller in you, you'll want to stop by and check out her stuff.
