What event will we find you at this week?  My mom's birthday party. Mom, if you're reading this, I love you... and no, I didn't forget to call Bubby.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? Phở Tái, size large, from Turtle Tower with a beer, also size large.

Where do you get your local gossip? Twitter. And The Uptown, where nearly every good weekend night starts.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? DJ Bus Station John. Look him up.

Where's your go-to date place? My roof. It's romantic, a great place for a glass of wine, and has the most amazing panoramic view of the city.

What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Miyabi Sushi. Two blocks from home, quick, friendly, and they never kick us out when we get too loud.

What's your favorite SF institution?  The Great American Music Hall. Best staff, great drinks, beautiful room with top-notch acoustics... and even the backstage is large and accommodating. 

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Unionmade. To check out their winter wear. Best mens store in SF.
