Stephannie Depa's name has two n's in it. This is important, because when you're emailing someone back and forth to get a mixtape from them, and you're writing a Stephannie with one n? She's probably wildly confused. 

The Stephannie with two n's has been living in San Francisco and works at a tech PR agency. She spends a great deal of her time on Muni. She's the crazy blonde girl lip syncing and bopping along with every song she's blasting on her headphones (which, oddly, seems pretty par for the course in this town.) She's "that" person who makes playlists for everything – seriously everything, considering she has one called "cleaning" (going out on a limb to say she cleans while listening to that one.) If you want to hang out with her, she's probably somewhere in the Lower Haight drinking an IPA or browsing the stacks at Rooky Ricardo's, which is a fantastic name for anything at all in my humble opinion. 

It's funny, because Stephannie made a mix about summer turning into fall. For the record, there have been about 20 of these on this blog, but the funniest part is: it's still an accurate statement in this town, even on November 5th. She explains:

"This is the time when I turn from extrovert to recluse. I'm not talking completely hermitted, crazy cat lady here, but I'm more often than not just wanting to snuggle up somewhere with someone, spending the dark, foggy days in our own world created in my shoebox of a SF apartment. My Northern California roots also leave me longing to escape to a cabin in the woods for the weekend where the only things heard are this playlist and the crackle of a fire. This is the playlist I listen to on one of those days."
