SF is... home to my family, my business, my creative inspiration, my collaborators.
Who is your favorite quintessential local character? Joy Bianchi, hands down. I have a picture of us, I am holding one of her ‘fashion mice’ for charity!!! I only hope to stop traffic with my fashion ensembles some day.
Why do you love your neighborhood? I live on Mars [Street], which I LOVE SAYING. The view is amazing and you can park in front of your house which means people will visit you.
Where is your secret spot? The Poetry Room in City Lights Bookstore.
What’s your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Da Flora in North Beach.
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Japanese Tea Garden or the Legion of Honor Café.
What is your favorite SF institution? Roller skating on 6th Avenue in Golden Gate Park.
What would you change about SF? I would happily switch weather with Mill Valley.
