Love got a lot more legal this week when Maine, Maryland, and Washington approved state-wide measures for gay-marriage. Minnesota is also following suit: voters rejected a constitutional ban on gay-marriage. Now if only California can change its gay politics... (TIME)

Now some sad gay news. Another gay bar is closing in our 49 miles. The Tenderloin's Deco Lounge marks the fifth gay bar to close in San Francisco during the past two years. Seriously, San Francisco, what the fuck? (SFist)

On a lighter note, the city's coffee gods are stepping away from soy milk. The owner of Four Barrel Coffee was glad to switch to almond milk due to soy milk's GMO problems. (Put a food label on it, damnit!) Four Barrel also claims almond milk is tastier, what do you think? (SF Weekly)
