What are you up to these days?: I'm launching my 2013 Spring Knitwear Collection full of super-soft yarns, citrus colors, and patterns inspired by 1950's interiors and ancient carvings.

SF is... the perfect, fog-laden host for my knitwear and a constant inspiration for my design aesthetic.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? Whatever Chez Panisse is serving that night!

Where do you get your local gossip? Our eight (soon to be nine) boutiques are a constant source of local gossip for me.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? All of the stylish girls and boys on the streets of SF.

Where's your go-to date place? Pizzetta 211 in the Richmond - intimate, romantic and delicious.

Why do you love your neighborhood? Besides being home to one of our boutiques, Upper Fillmore has all the indulgences I need, including great fashion, beautiful shoes, and frozen yogurt.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? My escape is the ocean and fog. Favorite spots like Baker and Stinson beaches inspire new knits to wear on cool evenings.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Foggy nights, great food, and wine...and sweaters!
