About Claire
Claire was born in a little town in East LA 25 years ago, where papa was a rodeo, and mama was a rock and roll band. Raised on a steady diet of books and music, Claire fancies herself to be a Jill-of-most-trades. After relocating to San Francisco in 2008, Claire began working with a San Francisco YMCA, where she’s worn many hats- from grant billing and reporting, to program development for high school youth, to her current position, in which she helps to oversee operations for HR, volunteerism, and marketing. Born to a family of artists and musicians, Claire revels in San Francisco culture, and believes the creative energy of the city is what balances her personal and professional lives. “There’s always something to dip your hands into and start doing here- this city breeds creativity.”
