About Janell
I grew up in the Bay Area and spent most of my teenage years at local music haunts like Bottom of the Hill, the Fillmore, 924 Gilman, and perusing up and down the aisles of Amoeba. When I decided to get a higher education, I thought I’d try a new city on for size, packed my bags, and moved to Chicago. After living there for the last four years, I’m extremely happy to be back in San Francisco. I got my Bachelor’s in Music Business at Columbia College Chicago and now work for an incredible recording studio in SOMA called Studio Trilogy.
