About Jennifer

Jennifer Maerz has spent much of her adult life standing near stages. She's been exposed to enough variations on the live music thing to know she'll never have her fill of shows. Given the choice, she'll take the unusual performances--in dive bars, random galleries, down in Big Sur--over the standard big venue gigs. When she's not watching bands plug in, or listening to her favorite KUSF DJs, she's embracing her inner beach comber, with a meal at Outerlands, a run out to the dunes, or a fantasy of overcoming her fear of big waves. She also eats a lot of blueberries, collects a lot of turquoise, and takes a lot of road trips.
