About Eric

Eric Shea grew up in the Bay Area but moved to San Francisco in 1994. A musician since 3rd grade, he now sings in the tinnitus perpetuating heavy-rock quartet Hot Lunch and the twangy country-rock band Sweet Chariot. Shea also books Sleepless Nights, the annual Gram Parsons tribute at The Great American Music Hall (the 10th anniversary of which happens Saturday, August 27th). When not rocking or recording, he likes riding motorcycles and grinding the coping of empty swimming pools on vintage skateboards. Shea is currently working on his first book Living Mod: Berkeley In The 1980s.
