About Jesse
Jesse Szymanski arrived in San Francisco by way of Hawaii. He spends his time chomping around the city on his bicycle and loves it when a really mashed-up night ends around 9 a.m. at Mel’s Drive-In on a Sunday. This Jersey boy seeks out strange and often absurd situations, prompting him to participate, even if that means wearing tiger-striped leggings. He’s written for The Honolulu Advertiser and The Honolulu Weekly. A self-described adventurist, Jesse hitchhiked some 8,000 miles in South America last year, was nearly killed by a box jellyfish on Kauai and knows why renting a motorbike in Thailand is a bad idea. He refers to the city as Weirdopolis and loves watching people scream in places like Dolores Park and the TL.
