About Alexandra
Alexandra was born and raised in San Francisco until her parents decided that it was better for their sanity to raise three kids in the suburbs and moved them all to the sleepy college town of Davis. There, she learned how to ride her bike without fear. Unfortunately that skill has not successfully carried over to city cycling.
After graduating from college across the bay, where she received a Rhetoric degree, she moved back to San Francisco. (For those wondering what a degree in Rhetoric actually means, she'll happily explain over a cup of tea.) Now, she lives in a faux beach house that she shares with her boyfriend and the occasional visiting mouse. Her daytime hours are spent writing at Wired.com, where she covers consumer technology news.
