About Captain
Captain Joe is a self-help success story hailing from St. Helena, California. Up until 2010 Joe Garvey was enjoying a mediocre career in social services until one weekend he attend a crazy, life-altering seminar that inspired him to quit his job the next day and launch the California League of Adult Scavenger Hunters (CLASH) in San Francisco. The California League of Adult Scavenger Hunters is no longer but Joe Garvey is now Captain Joe and runs CLASH Scavenger Hunts where he oversees the design and execution of large-scale urban scavenger hunts for companies, private groups and the general public.
