A former paperboy, busboy, politician, university instructor, finance and start-up guy, and top Girl Scout cookie buyer, I helped launch PUBLIC (www.publicbikes.com) last year with Rob Forbes and an incredible team that shares a passion for getting more people on bicycles. Spent my formative years raised by wolves in Chico, CA. Ended up in graduate school at the Chico State of the East Coast, otherwise known as Harvard, where I received a master’s in ultimate frisbee with high honors in afternoon naps. Black Rock Roller Disco is my Burning Man tribe. You might find me at the San Francisco Lawn Bowling Club in Golden Gate Park getting beat in the game by 70-year old ladies. The path to my heart goes through my stomach, and it usually involves ice cream.
