Dennis Yang grew up in Ohio, a fact about which he is overly proud when he is comfortably at home in San Francisco. He moved here in '97 because he heard there was gold in the hills and ended up getting swept up in the dotcom boom. Today, he probably Facebooks, Tweets and Foursquares a little too much for his own good. His modest SOMA garage is crammed with multiple bicycles, cars, motorcycles, and scooters, but that's just because he believes in using the right tool for the right job. An engineer by training and trade, these days he writes both prose and code as one of the founders of Techdirt and publisher of his own blog, Dennis Yang dot com. He shares his surly Boston Terrier, Bailey, with his brother and sister-in-law-to-be. Before dinner, he drinks Campari and after dinner, Fernet Branca.
