Emily Hobson has always lived in the Bay Area and flatly refuses to live elsewhere. Around these parts she has made bad art, slung coffee, sold vintage housewares, and worked in technology for dog’s years. She makes a home with her dog Phoebe in a flat stuffed with old-timey treasures, boutique liquor, and great stacks of vinyl. Emily likes her food meatless, her cocktails hand-crafted, and her music melodic. She’s as dedicated to her couch as she is to the enthralling streets of this city. Often misunderstood, she is funniest when writing in the third person.
