A transplant from Long Beach, Calif., Emily Savage has been messing with your Bay Area newsprint since 2008. Her current gig is associate arts and culture editor (i.e. music editor) for the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

The best night of her life was spent watching Motörhead live in Bulgaria, she was once on a failed talk show called Talk or Walk, and she might be addicted to Beverly Hills 90210, Twitter, and Pinterest.

In her free time, Emily eats vegan junk food, plays with her chug, Iggy Pup, and attends assorted loud shows with her map-making paramour.
