About Grant

A native of Palm Springs, Grant escaped the 125-degree summers in 2001 and never looked back. Since relocating to the Bay Area to become a Golden Bear, he's had gigs with outlets as diverse as the San Francisco Examiner, Sports Illustrated, and Golden State Warriors radio, has lived above Mad Dog In The Fog in Lower Haight (where he totally cheated at Pub Quiz), and has enjoyed close to three dozen boots of Franziskaner at Suppenkuche (not all at once). He currently splits his time between serving as the San Francisco editor of Thrillist and playing princesses with his two daughters.
