About Heather
Since a young age, Heather's passion and curiosity revolved around discovering new things and connecting with people and the environment.
Currently, Heather leads Strategic Development and Innovation at UL Environment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UL.
In this role, her responsibilities include establishing and managing strategic partnerships in addition to managing, facilitating and communicating the benefits of the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Program, a global certification service that discloses product transparency via a life cycle based reporting system.
Heather has been entrenched in the evolving sustainability marketplace for over a decade and has experience helping multiple organizations and government agencies integrate sustainability strategies.
Prior to her experience with UL Environment, Heather served as Managing Partner of Sustainability for MindClick SGM and worked as the Sustainability and Marketing Director for Timbron International.
Ms. Gadonniex is co-author (with Trish Riley) of “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Greening Your Business” and is a lecturer at the U.C Berkeley Extension Sustainable Design Program. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development from the University of Pittsburgh, and completed her honors thesis in Senegal.
Heather loves to cook and travel!
