About Noah

Noah Joshu Guy, born in New York City, grew up in Berkeley, California. Son of a filmmaker and a ceramist, he was influenced by the creative industries lugging film equipment and visiting wood fire kilns. He grew up in the tumultuous 80's with the birth of hip hop music in New York and the reign of skateboarding in California. After traveling the world in the 90's, Noah settled into making bags by 2000 and has worked working in apparel at Levis and The North Face. He now heads up Joshu+Vela.
