About Lauren

Lauren Sloss is a Bay Area-native who can't seem to stay away from San Francisco. This is in no small part thanks to the city's temperate weather, which allows her to wear her motorcycle boots year-round. She is ardently enthusiastic about food and music, and has somehow convinced various publications to allow her to write about both and call it work. She has a particular affinity for blues-based garage rock and avocados, and manages to consume a good amount of both on a daily basis. When she is not dancing down the street with headphones in, she enjoys wrangling her motley crew of friends for adventures, both urban and otherwise.
