About Lisa
In her youth, Lisa was bitten by a seagull, run over by a bicycle, and set her own hair on fire. She is no more graceful today. From the mean streets of New York City to the post-Will Smith town of Philadelphia, she has spent her entire life traipsing around big cities. She depended on a map of San Francisco the first year she lived here due to her poor sense of direction and her fascination with the nearest Muni lines. A former Rock Paper Scissors competitor and current bar trivia enthusiast, she is inept at games that actually require gear. When she isn’t helping make books happen at Chronicle Books, Lisa enjoys exaggerated winks and jumping in large puddles in rain boots. She has recently come to love the cocktail and thinks the Little B. Stack at Weird Fish is one of the most perfect dishes created.
