Luigi Di Ruocco is an Alameda native, St. Joseph Notre Dame High School and St. Mary's College graduate, with a double major in economics and business administration. He worked briefly for Barclays Global Investors after college and soon returned to family business – Mr. Espresso, out of Oakland. In 2007 , he opened Coffee Bar with a childhood friend in "Media Gulch." Currently there is another location in the FiDi on the way.
