About Sarah Magrish
Sarah Magrish Cline is intrigued by screen printing, transparency, repetition, gift economies, brand culture, florescent ink, cooperative ownership, neo-geo, collective management, foraging, Negri & Hardt, sharing meals, in-between spaces, print publications, and the right to useful unemployment (thank you Ivan Illich.)
She grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles (in a house with neon green shag carpeting) and spent her days riding her bike around the cul-de-sac and tromping through the Santa Monica mountains. More recently she spent several years living a block away from the Rainbow Food Co-op in San Francisco and still misses the chocolate ice cream, bergamot infused olive oil, and celtic sea salt sundaes from Bi-Rite Creamery, amongst other things of course.
Now she rides around the streets of beautiful Portland, Oregon. When she is not working at Liquid Agency you can usually find her at Beacon Sound or digging around in her backyard.
And Magrish comes from a nice family tradition of keeping maternal names alive by using them as middle names—it is her dad's mother's maiden name.
