About Matt

Matt Roberts' years of working in record store led to many, many more years in the independent record distribution world, where he spends most of his time blabbering on the phone to other record nerds, but also doing time with design and production. He runs a tiny record label, for which he makes the record covers himself – silkscreening, stamping, and even constructing them out of plywood. He's also the bass player for local psych-pop dependables The Mantles. These days, Matt's slowly working his way back into a life of academia and DJ'ing in order to support a vicious addiction to all things frozen, yogurt, and margaritas in particular. Other interests include collecting manatee-related stuff and wondering if he'd be happier if he sold all of his records.
