About Mei-Ling
Mei-Ling is a happy-go-lucky gal who’s more interested in bringing cheese into a situation than sarcasm. She’s half Chinese and half Scotch-Irish, grew up in both California and Hawaii, and would always rather be wearing sandals and have a bit of sand in her hair. She thinks the only real reason to make money is to enjoy delicious food and travel to all the places in the world that make you feel a bit uncomfortable at first. She’s classically trained in ballet, holds a BFA in Dance and a BA in Anthropology, and is working hard to combine the two as the Program Manager of Movement Exchange — a non-profit dedicated to dance exchange and global service. When she’s not dancing, she’s playing piano, pondering how majestic whales are, looking at maps to plan her next adventure, and hiking around the Bay Area.
