About Nathan
Brown studied advertising in Texas at TCU and completed his education at Regents College in London. Upon graduation, he moved to Colorado and began working in production in Denver where he met and began to collaborate with Sean Leman. In 2000 Brown moved to San Francisco to work as Executive Producer at PMG before co-founding Rehab with Sean in 2002. He has Executive Produced numerous transmedia campaigns, music projects and branded content in his 15 year career including MINI for Butler, Shine and Stern, Doritos and Hyundai for Goodby, hundreds of Vincent Moon's Take Away Shows, Gap's Sound of Color campaign and an award-winning LEGO campaign for Pereira & O'Dell. Planet World, a comedy feature film he Executive Produced, premiered at the Austin Film Festival in 2011 and screened at this year's Slamdance Film Festival in Park City.
As Rehab's Executive Producer, he is responsible for overseeing all productions, developing the company's growth, identifying and forming strategic partnerships and building the company's talent roster. Nathan has served on many cultural and philanthropic boards including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art's Contemporary Extension. He is currently the founding Board President of the San Francisco Film Society's Midnight Club.
As an avocation, he creates bar and restaurant interiors and designs a line of furniture called Disfigure, which is carried in boutiques in San Francisco and New York. You can follow his personal blog here (http://n8brown.tumblr.com/).
