About Nihar
Nihar Bhatt is a San Francisco based DJ known for his sets that explore the history of electronic music with an experimental edge. In 2009, Nihar co-founded the synth-wave/post-punk dance party Warm Leatherette (https://www.facebook.com/warmleatherettesf), which has, in its years of vagabond existence, become the best place to hear classics and obscurities of the “outsider” dance genres. His interest in pursuing the further development of electronics in dance music lead in 2010 to him co-founding Haceteria (http://haceteria.com/), a monthly party which delves into the depths of house and techno music, especially tracks made in or inspired by the heyday of the rave era. Nihar also plays in the electro-industrial synth duo BRUSE (http://soundcloud.com/bruse).
