About Orli

Orli Cotel is the Deputy Communications Director of the Sierra Club, where she spends her days scheming ways to move the country Beyond Coal and towards clean energy. In addition, she is the Producer & Host of Sierra Club Radio, [www.sierraclubradio.org] a weekly green talk radio show that airs on 960am and is syndicated to over 40 stations around the country, interviewing politicians, filmmakers, authors, activists, and more. She is also the co-founder of Swap for Good, [www.swapforgood.org] a national non-profit project to host clothing swaps as a way to raise money for domestic violence shelters. She grew up in Manhattan and has lived in San Francisco since 2003, where she can often be found doing DIY kitchen projects such as curing her own olives or making homemade butter.
