Kat Matutina founded Donuts (http://donutsparty.com/), a party that involves live music, DJs, and lots of dancing. Donuts has been creating parties with both live bands and up and coming DJs since 2006. Donuts is dedicated to bringing artists together where people can experience live music and dance to new and vintage sounds in a fun, underground atmosphere complete with lasers, visuals, and free donuts! Founder and resident DJ PICKPOCKET, a.k.a. Kat Matutina, spins a variety of records ranging from rare disco and boogie, to acid house, detroit, freestyle, baltimore club, ghetto tech, italo, electro, post punk, minimal/synth wave, freestyle, and cosmic synth jams.

Aside from parties and events, Kat's educational and professional background involves holistic health & nutrition. She attended the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food & Health in Manhattan before coming to San Francisco where she got involved with organic restaurants and personal cheffing and catering as well as nutrition consulting. She also attended massage school and has plans to become a certified personal trainer, which aligns with her passion and dedication to healthy living.

Personal favorite activities include record & clothes shopping, playing with dogs, swimming in the ocean, outdoor pools, sunbathing on sunny beaches, and traveling to tropical climates.
