About Reyhan
Born in Staten Island, Reyhan Harmanci grew up amongst the Amish in rural Pennsylvania. She moved to San Francisco in 2001 after graduating from Wesleyan University for a year long-experiment in Left Coast living, but leaving has proved difficult. After working for the San Francisco Chronicle as an arts and culture reporter for four years, she can now be found roaming the Mission looking for strong coffee, a working electrical outlet and the perfect turkey sandwich.
