About Silvi
Silvi is the owner and poet of The Poetry Store, an interactive experience where, in three minutes or less, you get a custom typewritten poem about anything you want (yes, anything, even cocaine and gummi bears). She also creates one-of-a-kind art and jewelry made with an upcycled ethos and vintage appeal. To date, she’s written and sold thousands of poems at corporate and private parties, weddings, and one beard and mustache competition. Her work has been featured in Daily Candy, 7x7, SF Chronicle, and Huffington Post SF. Her art has shown at Femina Potens Gallery, Secession Art and Design, and La Boutique. The best part of Silvi’s week is when she teaches poetry for the Institute on Aging to students between the ages of 55-97, who are the most hilarious people and brilliant poets she knows.
