About Zoneil
Born in Fiji and raised in the wonderfully crime-ridden locale of Stockton, CA, Zoneil Maharaj grew up worshiping an elephant and eating goat brain curry. His father might have even fed him a testicle or two. Wait, that doesn't sound right. Whatever. Somewhere along the way, he started listening to the hippity-hop music and decided to make a career out of writing about it. FAIL. Now he's broke, running indie arts and culture webzine Oh Dang! (www.ohdangmag.com) and couch surfing between San Francisco and his mommy's house.
