About Chloe
After being trapped in the woods for 10 years, Chloe Schildhause fled her Lake Tahoe upbringing in 2006 to become a media studies student at the University of San Francisco. She knew city life would be better than long monotonous days full of pine trees and bear hunting (that’s what all the Tahoe locals do, of course) and she was right. It was in March 2007, while walking in ballet flats without her feet going numb that Chloe realized there was something special about this city. That and the abundance of Indian food, for Chloe has an addiction to curry so much so that her sweat smells of the spice. Chloe’s writing has appeared in the SF Bay Guardian, SOMA, Nylon, Dazed & Confused and the highly reputable Tahoe World. When not writing she enjoys feeding people. Her specialties include crêpes, bruschetta and matzoh ball soup.
