Drew Hoolhorst grew up in Menlo Park, CA but tells everyone he's from Palo Alto because it's just a lot easier and it's at least 0.1% true. He worked at Mekanism (www.mekanism.com), a digital agency, for the first six years he lived in the city as a social media strategist (vague, right?) and a copywriter. If you ask people, they will say, "that is TOO long." So he decided to go out on his own as a freelance writer, which means he's probably at a coffee shop right now. He spends most of his life taking pictures of his girlfriend's dog and putting them on Instagram. When he's not doing that, he's writing for Rocket Shoes (www.rocket-shoes.com), his blog.
