The Bold Italic + Stag Dining Group Present: Mid Riff Microhood Dinner

The Bold Italic is excited to announce the Mid Riff Microhood Dinner, our latest clandestine neighborhood feast with our good friends at Stag Dining Group and Cocktail Lab. For this special gathering, we’re focusing on the 6th and Market area, which we’ve playfully tagged Mid Riff, and the art and music history that surrounds it. Our featured artist will be Hugh Leeman, who lives at that intersection and whose amazing portraits of locals have been wheatpasted around the city.  We'll be housed in an eccentric space rarely open to the public, one with great local rock 'n' roll history, which we'll be hearing about from our hosts.

Dinner will be served passed plate style, and will include two cocktails from Cocktail Lab as well as ale from our keg.

I Walu tartare/ sea urchin bottarga, pickled black radish, charred avocado, yuzu kosho

II Pig ear terrine/ hot mustard, caper-cornichon gastrique, mizuna

III Spicy lentil soup/ charcoal grilled tripe, kale, fennel

IV Veal loin larded with bacon/ cardoon-potato gratin, rapini, black olive jus

V Carrot cake/ sesame sablé, miso ice cream
