In celebration of the summer equinox, the proliferation of summer squash, warmish days of BBQing, and the historical marker of the start of the flooding of the Nile river, Gravel & Gold would like to throw a party in the store. Starting at 5 p.m., the shop is offering 25% off all things for sale, and at 7 p.m., makers will gather to ring in the longest day of the year. Josey Baker Breadmaker will be baking up special summer levain loafs, Rachel Budde of Fat and the Moon will brew up a witchy summer herbal tonic, and Josh Land of Outerlands will be cooking up a summer squash soup du jour for $5 a bowl. Summer tunes provided by Dusty Stax.
