Future Shorts San Francisco Edition is back again with more short cinema wonders to screen. This time the films have traveled all sorts of crazy distances from all over the planet. The line up includes Grant Orchard’s Oscar-nominated and BAFTA winning “A Morning Stroll” (UK, 2012); recent Clermont winner “Guest” from South Korea and SXSW favourite and award winner “Notes on Biology” from the US. A local short “Sigilo” (Secrecy) by Karla Gomez will get the party started.
Future Shorts Festival is currently the largest global pop-up film festival with 2 million viewers and quarterly screenings in over 160 cities in 60 countries. This time, the films will happen at Firehouse 8 - formerly an active fire station and now transforming into a retail and event space. If you're a film aficionado, you won't want to miss the creative juices flowin', antique locale, and drinks-a-plenty. $10 in advance or $15 at the door!
