We're huge fans of Jay Nelson (http://www.thebolditalic.com/JenniferMaerz/stories/1120-tactile-domes-) – an Outer Sunset artist whose giant wood sculptures have graced the beachside Mollusk shop and the Valencia pop-up inside Voyager. "West Portal" is Jay's first proper solo show for the surf shop, though, and he's taken over the whole gallery, turning it into a cavern with custom lighting.
